The aim of Company management is to deliver a high level of service to its customers in a safe and environmentally sound manner. We accept that concern for the environment and sustainability should influence the services provided by the Company and be incorporated into those services where appropriate and practicable.

The company is involved in projects that are aimed at understanding and ultimately reducing flooding, storm water discharges and in promoting the use sustainable drainage techniques. We are therefore engaged in working to protect and enhance the aquatic environment and we are committed to reducing our environmental impact on the world through improvement in our environmental management and performance.  We have 5 focus areas:

Reducing Waste

• Continuously improve on our recycling rates.
• Reduce the amount of waste we produce.
• Maintain our commitment to using 100% recycled paper.

Reducing Energy Consumption

• Commitment to targets of reducing fossil fuel consumption in the office and use of transportation.

Incorporating Environmentally Sustainable Designs

• Take environmental impact into account in the planning, design and implementation of our projects to help prevent pollution.
• Incorporate environmental and sustainability considerations into our designs and practices with regard to the use of materials, energy consumption, waste disposal and recycling.

Commitment to Environmental Reporting

• Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals, at least annually or in response to a change in legislation.
• Commit to financially and physically resource to achieve the requirements of this policy.
• Commit to continually improving our environmental management system and pollution prevention, through setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.
• Report annually on targets and progress in achievement.

Reinforcing Environmental Training and Awareness

• Encourage and provide environmental training and awareness to all staff members.
