Integrated Constructed Wetlands (ICW) are landscape features which are used to treat foul runoff using naturally occurring vegetative processes, whist contributing to the surrounding amenity and biodiversity value of the site and wider landscape.
The ICW concept has been gaining wider recognition over the number of years with the development of ICWs for NIW and Irish Water along with several commercial and government clients. There is great potential for further use of these systems within the municipal, agricultural, landfill, mining and food industry sectors.
